apartments building Medellin 335

project in collaboration with Stanley Saitowitz + IARkitectura

Medellín 335 consists of collaboration for a vertical housing development that is integrated into the urban context of one of the neighborhoods with the greatest development potential in Mexico City, such as the Roma Sur neighborhood. Our proposal proposes the construction of an 8-story building, made up of 29 housing units, and two parking basements. The project has a central patio that functions as a meeting space for users, in addition to ventilating and illuminating the interiors.

The building stands out for its exploration of openings on the main façade, creating technological stone flares that give the building an imposing and elegant character. To generate a slight contrast of textures, Corten steel plates with planters at their base were integrated in the pedestrian and vehicular accesses. Upon entering the property, the circulations and multipurpose room are discovered; as well as 3 apartments. From the first to the sixth level there are 4 apartments on a typical floor plan, and the seventh level has 2 apartments with a roof garden each.
