interior design Apartment Portofino

Residencial Portofino, Bosques de las Lomas

This interior design project is rooted in a sensitive and contemplative vision, where the architecture becomes an intimate refuge that balances timeless elegance with contemporary functionality. The apartment, conceived as a fluid sequence of atmospheres, celebrates warm materials, soft lighting, and proportion as essential elements of everyday well-being.

At the heart of the space lies a generous living area that integrates the lounge, dining room, and library, organized around a full-height shelving unit that not only provides structure but also frames the fireplace as a symbolic gathering point. This architectural gesture creates a harmonious visual rhythm, reinforced by a palette of earthy tones, natural woods, and soft textiles that invite introspection.

The design embraces human scale and texture: wooden slats on the upper plane, textured wall finishes, and clean-lined furniture establish a sensory language where every element has intention. The layout dissolves the boundaries between social and intimate spaces, allowing domestic life to unfold through art, contemplation, and connection.

The open floor plan fosters visual continuity, while movable elements and soft partitions ensure flexibility of use. Natural light is filtered through linen curtains, while warm, focused lighting highlights areas for reading, gathering, and rest.
