In architecture, not everything that is designed reaches its final destination. Throughout our journey at TDDA, we have encountered projects that, for various reasons, became suspended between vision and reality. Some reached the construction phase but were halted due to external factors—unfinished permits, lack of funding, or developers abandoning the project—leaving them incomplete. Others were finished, but clients chose not to allow us to document them, leaving only the renders as a testament to what once was.
Each of these projects, though they did not meet the outcome we had envisioned, remains a valuable part of our evolution. They are milestones that remind us of the effort, dedication, and resilience that are integral to the creative process.
In this section, I want to share those projects that, while not fully realized, continue to accompany us as traces that guide the path toward what we are and what we are still yet to build.
