Apartment Valanci

Located to the west of Mexico City, within the exclusive residential complex 'Frondoso', Valanci consists of the adaptation of an existing apartment that was approached from the approach with the clients where they expressed their desire to recover some existing elements such as specific furniture . or design elements. Our proposal stands out for a dynamic and fluid distribution of spaces, taking advantage of the horizontal characteristics of the home.


Upon entering the apartment, the user is welcomed by a hall that stands out for the use of lambrines, to later discover the heart of the project made up of the social areas. This central space houses the living room, dining room and family room, which have generous openings to the outside through large windows, while in the back there is a private study.


Considering the existing space scheme in a rectangular shape, the remaining architectural program was distributed around the public areas. On the left side are the service areas and the kitchen that relate to each other; While on the right side, the bedrooms are discovered through a hallway that functions as a visual finish.


Our intervention proposal is characterized by the integration of contemporary elements such as blinds, luminaires with rails and materials with timeless aesthetics such as the use of light woods, marbles and technological stones.
